Er...Sorry for missing last week. I had quite a busy week.
First of all, I'd like to say that I absolutely hate this method of doing the WTC, what we did with the Grand Julian one. YUCK! I might as well have just randomly assigned everyone to a category. Harrumph. Anyways, here are my fractals to look for:
[link] really like the center bits of this fractal--very smooth. This would've looked better had they cropped more out. Also, it's not very true to the theme.
[link] Julia Virus by ~starsofglass. This is a wicked fractal--daring to use a white background! I think this is a very risky piece--it's a risky fractal, on a white background, with an atypical gradient. It probably would've gotten my vote, just because it's so unique.
[link] Julian in Squareland by ~aerphis. This rocks my boxors off--I love the square twist to it. It's still obviously a grand julian, but there's a uniqueness to it that sets it apart from the rest. I do not, however, like the gradient--this fractal needs a BOLD gradient.
[link] The Worm by ~TwilightAmbiance I love this. It's like a grand julian and chaos theory had a love child. So glowy and gorgeous... it would get my vote in the advanced category.
Sorry if this seems abrupt, I just don't care much for julian fractals. They get old quickly.
