Stolen and modified from ~TwilightAmbiance, who stole and modified it from someone else...lol.  He pointed out his top 10 favourite deviations of all time (by himself), and put them in order, and why he liked them.  Well, I don't have that much time on my hands...I don't think I could do that very well.  So what I'm going to do is comment on my top 10 faved deviations, and what I like/dislike about them.

Anyone else find it hilarious that a non-fractal made it into the top 10?  I think it's a funny emote, and we needed a positive apo one--at the time, all we had was a :aponoes: and a :shakeapo:.  Though I feel a bit like I plagiarized the emote.  Cuz I did.  >.>

I actually made the top 10 for the contest I entered it into, which was cool.  I like this, but I never got the color/gamma/saturation quite right, which kind of drives me crazy.

I like this one.  It's so typically me.  I was trying to imitate another style, failed, and succeeded in making up a new one.  If I had to go back and tweak it, I'd probably change the colors first.  Or at least the color symmetry.

I don't care for this one.  It's lacking something, and I've no idea what.  I much prefer the original one I did (see the artist's comments for the link).  Besides, it's kind of wonky...my (pretend) OCD is not pleased.

Ouu, this one makes me mad that it's on the top 10 list.  I put absolutely no emotional investment in this piece.  I seriously made--and rendered--all four of these pieces in like an hour.  And I don't even care for the fractal I made for Spring.  I guess they all just look nice next to each other.

I have no idea why this fractal is on this list.  Seriously.  It's just a normal spiral fractal that happened to be cropped in a special way, before Apoholics knew how to crop fractals.  Maybe that's why it was popular for a long time.

One of my personal faves.  There's nothing I don't like about it, really.   And I absolutely hate that I don't have the params for it...so, no good-sized print.  Evar.    I was ecstatic when it was chosen to be the featured deviation on #Apophysis for a week, that's when it got the majority of its publicity.

68 faves, holy cow.  I can't believe how many people liked this one.  It got quite a bit of publicity too (well, relatively speaking).  I still find it funny that I figured out how to do the flower-style fractals from a random batch flame.  The colors are my favourite part about it, though.  All glowy and shiny.  It's not my personal favourite, but I do like it.
