This was my final work for Painting I, the first art class I've taken since like 6th grade. This piece is also based on a photograph my father took a year (I think) ago. It was taken in the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis, and that month they were featuring works of blown glass by Dale Chihuly. Here is a picture of the same thing I painted (not the exact same picture, of course).
Anyways, this is the culmination of everything I did in that class, and I quite proud of it. I ended up giving it to my dad at the end of the semester. I think I spent about 10 hours on it? Maybe? Don't quite remember. Acrylic on canvas |

Glad to be back. I was showing someone Apophysis, and then like totally came up with something awesome. Unfortunately, it wasn't on my computer, so I'll have to see if I can recreate it...

Pirates hate ninjas. Ninjas hate pirates. Its that simple. Why? Because the Internet said so.
